Terms of Service
1. Who we are
The Edmond Letter ("Edmond," "we," "us," or "our") is published by Twenty Sixty One LLC, 2900 Rodd St, Midland, MI 48640. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EdmondLetter.com, ReadEdmond.com, JoinEdmond.com (collectively, the "Site"), our email newsletter, and any related products, courses, downloads, or coaching services we offer (collectively, the "Services").
By subscribing to our newsletter, creating an account, purchasing a product, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
2. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to subscribe or purchase from us. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. The newsletter and email communications
When you subscribe to The Edmond Letter, you're opting in to receive periodic emails from us, generally including:
- Our regular newsletter content
- Occasional announcements about paid products, courses, coaching, or services we offer or recommend
- Administrative emails related to your subscription or any purchase you make
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by contacting us at tom@edmondletter.com. Unsubscribing from the newsletter will also stop promotional emails, though we may still need to send you transactional messages (like a receipt) tied to a purchase you've already made.
We use a third-party email service provider (currently Kit, formerly ConvertKit) to manage our list and deliver emails. Your email address and engagement with our emails (opens, clicks) are processed through that platform under its own terms and privacy policy.
4. Paid products, offers, and coaching
From time to time we offer paid products for sale — this may include digital guides, courses, cohort or 1:1 coaching, or similar offerings ("Paid Offers"). Specific terms for a Paid Offer (price, what's included, refund eligibility, scheduling for coaching sessions) will be presented at the point of purchase and, where they add to or differ from these Terms, those specific terms control for that offer.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout:
- Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.
- Paid Offers are for your own individual use and may not be resold, redistributed, or shared without our written permission.
- We do not guarantee specific results (financial, professional, or otherwise) from any newsletter content, product, or coaching relationship. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort and circumstances.
5. Refunds
We offer a 180-day, no-questions-asked refund on Paid Offers. If you're not satisfied for any reason, email tom@edmondletter.com within 180 days of your purchase and we'll issue a full refund.
6. Intellectual property
All newsletter content, site content, downloadable materials, and course/coaching materials are owned by Twenty Sixty One LLC or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, republish, resell, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission. You're welcome to quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link back to us.
7. Testimonials and results
Any testimonials, case studies, or results shared in our marketing reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee that you'll achieve similar results.
8. No professional advice
Content from The Edmond Letter — including newsletters, products, and coaching — is provided for general informational, entertainment, or educational purposes. It is not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or, in the US, call or text 988.
9. Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Twenty Sixty One LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration before a mutually agreed, certified third-party mediator/arbitrator, with the costs of that arbitration split equally between the customer and Twenty Sixty One LLC.

- Advertising and conversion data if you arrive via a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad, including through the Meta Pixel
Cookies and similar technologies: Our Site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to:

- Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting records for purchases)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Who we share information with
We share information with the service providers who help us run Edmond, including:
- Kit (ConvertKit) — email delivery and list management
- [Your website host / WordPress provider] — site hosting
- Stripe — payment processing for Paid Offers
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising and conversion tracking, if you interact with our ads
- [Any analytics provider, e.g., Google Analytics] — site analytics
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms, and are not permitted to use your information for their own independent purposes beyond what's needed to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets (in which case we'd notify you of any change in ownership or use of your data).
5. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email tom@edmondletter.com to be removed.
- Access/correction/deletion: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing tom@edmondletter.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
- Do Not Track / advertising opt-outs: You can opt out of interest-based Meta advertising through your Meta ad settings, and manage cookies through your browser.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we've collected about you, to request deletion or correction of it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our use of the Meta Pixel may qualify as "sharing" under California law. To exercise any of these rights, or to opt out of sharing, email tom@edmondletter.com with the subject line "CCPA Request" or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We will verify your identity using your email address before fulfilling access or deletion requests.
- EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): If you're located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the following legal bases: your consent (for newsletter subscription and marketing emails), performance of a contract (for Paid Offers you purchase), and our legitimate interests (for basic site analytics and fraud prevention). You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing done before withdrawal), to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email tom@edmondletter.com with the subject line "GDPR Request." Where we transfer your information outside the EEA/UK (for example, to US-based service providers like Kit and Stripe), we rely on those providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Data retention
We retain your email address and subscription data for as long as you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping, unless you request deletion sooner. Purchase records are retained as needed to comply with tax and accounting requirements.
7. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on reputable third-party providers (Kit, our hosting provider, our payment processor) who maintain their own security standards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at tom@edmondletter.com and we'll delete it.
9. International visitors
Our Services are operated from the United States. If you're accessing them from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
